2021 presents us with a fresh new start, putting behind a memorable 2020. Let’s benefit from this beginning by making God and His Word the most impacting and influential factor in our lives. Politics, elections, viruses, social unrest are all important things that have affected our lives. But they come and go. God’s Word endures forever!!
Here are a few reasons I can think of why Scripture should saturate our lives:
- It is powerful and helps us fight sin and build resistance to temptation.
- We know and feel closer to God.
- Feel courageous and empowered to share the Gospel with our lost friends and family.
- We receive encouragement and direction.
- Recognizing answered prayer.
- We are strengthened in our faith.
- Correction and conviction for our sin.
- Equipped for God’s work and training in righteousness.
- Wisdom.
- Clarity of thoughts.
- Delight.
- Blessing.
- Endurance.
These are just some of the benefits God’s Word gives us.
Commit in 2021 to reading God’s Word. Memorize some of it as well. See the plans outlined for you below. It will change your outlook on life, so let’s make this new year the best one ever.
