In today’s sermon on Ephesians 6:1-4, I stressed the importance of God’s command that parents teach their children the Bible at home so that they might be saved. Simply put, parents are responsible for explaining the gospel so their children can be saved. Over the years I have witnessed one great obstacle keeping parents from doing this – they simply don’t know how to do it. Here’s some help.
Here are three books that we used at our house teaching our children the gospel throughout their childhood. There are many more but here are three to begin with today.
Just order one of these or all three and get started this week. Parents, the primary responsibility for leading your child to saving faith in Jesus belongs to you, not to the church. I love helping parents become equipped to do this well and hope this helps you.
