George Barna, Ken Ham, and others have alerted us in recent years of a scary reality. A high percentage of children who grow up in Christian homes and churches leave the church and God after graduating high school. They name several causes for this. One of those causes is the insufficient work of discipleship, teaching children a biblical worldview. Many don’t see reality and the world the Bible teaches. Those who have not been taught these things find themselves unable to stand up against the barrage of attacks on the Bible and Christianity. When they get out into life on their own, in the workplace, and in the university they no longer think of the Bible as truthful so there’s no reason to think of themselves as Christians.
This is the very purpose for the movie, to show that Genesis is real human history. In the movie Del Tackett, creator of The Truth Project, guides you through thought provoking explanations by microbiologists, archeologists, paleontologists, science philosophers, geologists, astronomers, and others giving evidences that support the historicity of the book of Genesis. It is possible that most youngsters who walk away from the faith do so because they lack a grasp of these things and suddenly they are made to think that the whole message of the Bible is fake. When they think everything the church has taught them is untrue, they just walk away.
Don’t allow this happen to your kids! Do everything in your power to root your kids firmly in the truth of the Bible.
