Pay More Attention To The Bible

In recent days our church has been challenged to use the summer months to grow in their discipleship.  One way we have talked about doing that is to commit to read the Bible four days or more each week.  We picked up this idea from David Platt in this year’s Secret Church.  Four days each week is better than 50%.  Do more, of course, as you’re able.  But shoot for at least 4.

Many people struggle due to time demands of work, children, travel, etc.  So listening to the Bible becomes a great way to unlock and use time that was formerly unusable or wasted listening to much less important things.  Here’s a great way to pay more attention to God’s word and grow in grace.  Go take advantage of the great deals below on a Bible recording and load it on your device.  Driving to work, doing errands, laying out at the pool, mowing the lawn, all become opportunities for God’s word to dwell richly within you.  Share it with your one-on-one partner and your LIFE Group.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”  Colossians 3:16
