Do you have questions about baptism? I’d like to hear them and help you find answers.
It is an awesome blessing to be part of the Koinos Family where there is such a huge variety of people with such diverse backgrounds: pagan, atheist, agnostic, Catholic, World Wide Church of God, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, German Baptist, Presbyterian, Church of Christ, Dutch Orthodox…how cool is that?
That also means there is a wide range of different ways to understand baptism, along with lots of other doctrines. So for the next 3 Sundays I plan to teach a mini-series on baptism. My hope is that all of us will grow more and more to be like Jesus, shaped by the Bible and not by our past.
As I prepare to teach, I would love for you to send your questions my way. I want to cover the things our church family needs and it can also be a way for you to get the answers you need right away.
Please leave your questions in a comment below. I will reply as I am able.
Here are some examples. Does God require me to be baptized in order to go to heaven? Does it count if I was baptized as a baby? Should my baby be baptized? Do I need to be re-baptized? Does sprinkling count? What’s the right way to be baptized? Does it count if I was baptized in the river?
